Personal statement

As an instrument scientist at the CMAC National Facility, I have had the privilege of immersing myself in the fascinating world of crystallization and particle engineering. My journey in this field began during my doctoral studies at CMAC, where I cultivated a deep passion for designing and executing experimental plans. My journey, however, had started years earlier when I earned my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, where I was honored with the gold medal for my outstanding academic performance.

Throughout my time at CMAC, I've developed expertise in several crucial areas that have allowed me to contribute significantly to the field. My core strengths lie in both the design and execution of experimental plans in crystallization and particle engineering. I take pride in my ability to develop statistical and mechanistic models from the data I collect, a skill that has proven invaluable in advancing our understanding of complex processes. Additionally, I am well-versed in operating specialist, high-value, continuous processing equipment, and I excel in configuring in-line and off-line process analytics.

Beyond my technical abilities, I also understand the importance of meticulous record-keeping. I take the responsibility of maintaining records of testing activities and general maintenance activities across our various laboratories at CMAC with the utmost seriousness. I believe that a well-organized and thorough approach to documentation is essential in ensuring the Facility's success.

My journey from a motivated student at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, to a dedicated instrument scientist at CMAC, has been shaped by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, a commitment to excellence, and a deep curiosity about the intricacies of crystallization and particle engineering. Now, having completed my Ph.D. in October 2023, I am eager to take the next step in my career.

Looking forward, I am committed to making meaningful contributions to the field of crystallization and particle engineering. I aspire to continue pushing the boundaries of our understanding through innovative research and the development of cutting-edge solutions. I am excited to embrace new challenges and opportunities, both in terms of research and in mentoring and collaborating with the next generation of scientists.
